Project 1402: Full TPO roof replacement with tapered insulation in Muleshoe
Project 1402 replaced an aged gravel-surfaced built-up roof on a commercial facility in Muleshoe. After years of Lubbock-branch service calls, the owner moved from reactive repairs to a planned CapEx replacement: base insulation, a full tapered system to create positive slope, new gutters, and a fully adhered TPO membrane.

How we approached it
The original gravel BUR had been maintained through repeated service calls until it reached the end of its lifecycle. A CapEx plan let the owner schedule replacement instead of waiting for an emergency.
The flat structural deck needed slope. We installed base insulation, then a full tapered system directing water to a new gutter layout, and closed with a fully adhered TPO membrane chosen for UV resistance and energy performance in West Texas.
